Best books I have read in 2020 so far:
"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies"
The journey of books is never ending! You finish one book you will start another one directly. The best thing about books is when you don't know what will happen in the end! The thrill of reading, excitement, the passion and love towards the book is never seen in anything else. Once we have finished the book we let out a sign of relief, either we are extremely happy or we cry. And the very next moment we start talking to people who have read this book, the conversation will be about if the ending was fair, or if the character should have chosen another path.
Books are what keeps my life adventures and exciting! If books where not in our lives, my life would be pretty boring.
-LONG LIVE BOOKS!-
Books I have read in 2020 so far:
- Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian
- 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
- The girl on the train by Paula Hawkins
- A breath too late by Rocky Callen
- Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
5th wave by rick Yancey, is my favourite book so far, I know I say that about all the book, but like come on am I wrong!
"After the 1st wave, only darkness remains. after the 2nd, only the lucky escape. And after the 3rd, only the unlucky survive. after the 4th wave, only one rule applies: trust no one."
For those who don't know anything about this book: The story is basically about an undergoing an alien apocalypse. Cassie is one of the few survivors, of the human race, the story revolves around her. Cassie is 16 years old who lost her mother in the third wave, her father dies in the 4th, and then her brother got kidnapped in the 5th. She rescues her brother with the help of Evan walker, who is the hero of the story.
Books hold so much meanings in our lives. We can climb mountains, go skydiving, we can save the whole entire world without lifting a finger, but just with our imagination! After reading a book we realise that the book also has a movie and when we watch the movie, we are basically watching our imagination come to life!! Although there is one thing that I hate with books and movies, and that is when the movies makes drastic changes to the plot or characters or the endings. It is just not my favourite thing in the world. Like take Percy Jackson and the lighting thief for example, after reading the book, like everyone else I watched the movie. And to be honest I thought that I have read the book wrong somehow. I had to call my friend to ask her if the events that I remember actually happened or not, and turns out I did read the book right :). So in conclusion I did not like the movie at all, in fact it gave me so much of a headache that i didn't even complete the movie!
