Emotions of the patients who have been affected by Covid 19

What goes on, in the mind of a victim who has been affected by the virus?

Anxiety for the victims of the corona virus, is like an average everyday problem. The sudden erupt of the virus in chine has not only been affecting people physically but also affecting people emotionally. News channels in chine have gone down to the quarantine section where the victims have been held in. The victims have been described as Blank brains, with only fear as a common emotion. Victims of the virus are not only battling the virus physically but also they are trying to keep sane, and as alive as they can ever be. The victims are feeling isolated from the world, they have this constant feeling that there is no cure to what they are going through. Which is debatable by the doctors, doctors are trying to keep there spirits alive, and trying to give them as much as sanity as there can ever be. They are trying to show them that they are not alone. patients are being held in blank white rooms, with one bed, a corner as a bathroom and a little to noting for entertainment. Victims are describing the place as “prison” .

Struggles of the family who have a diagnosed victim:

Since everyone knows that the virus is contagious. The fear of catching the disease is slowly corrupting the bond with the members of the family that have been affected by it. There have been many cases where victims are sacrificing a lot just to stay away from their family, as the victims are worried that their family members might catch it. There has been an incident where an Egyptian young women living as a student in chine has not even been diagnosed with the virus, but she still refuse to go back to her home country no matter how many time her parents have been telling her to come home, according to an interview she claimed that she is afraid that her parents might catch the virus too and then it might continue to spread more.

This is a very difficult time, everyone need to be aware of themselves and those around. As soon as someone believes that they are not feeling well they should avoid public places and contact with people, and go straight to the hospital for a check up. We need to help people too, we can help by giving the financial support, emotional support. students are stuck in other countries and are away from their parents, they families who see her going into emotional distress should help her out. post importantly is to Wear masks and gloves when going out, not to shake hands, stay away from social gatherings and much as possible limit going outside

I wish you all the best!

Stay home! Stay safe!
