Throne Of Glass
Throne of glass by Sarah J. Maas. I am in love. Wanna meet my soulmate, well technically wanna meet her life! Her name is Celaena Sardothien. " A heart of ice. A will of steel. Meet the ASSASSIN."
What is the biggest mistake an assassin can do? The answer is 'get caught'. Well Celaena she is an assassin and she got caught. She was sentenced to a life sentence in the filthy mines in Endovier. After some times she gets a life time opportunity from the king, she has to compete in a death tournament for the king in exchange for her freedom. During her competition she notices that there is darkness around the castle, as time passes Celaena discovers the frightening truth. After that she makes it her liability to fight the darkness to save herself and those around her who she loves. After reading the 2 books what I have most noticed is how the character of Celaena gets developed every time, something new is always introduced about her life.
She has to learn how to lie, and how to keep her secrets hidden well enough so that the king does not find out about them. She fights with her trust issues, and starts trusting people, in order to fight the evil that lures in the halls of the castle.
I absolutely love Celaena, she is brave, beautiful, and never giving up. She is just so daring. And I absolutely love Celaena and Nehemai friendship, it did go down hill at a certain part, but then it sure brought me some happiness + sadness at the end! ( I am trying so hard not to spoil the book).
This series has 5 books, I have yet to read 3 of them. I read the first book and the second and it absolutely tested my thrill for excitement and patience. I have to go out and buy the other 3 books and I can't wait, to journey deep down into their world and discover what the fearless Celaena does to stop the unfair and cruel king!
