This story is real, it is well written and purely comes from the heart. I highly recommend it. " I sensed the water that had killed Polly Cain, maybe she had just tripped or fallen.." or maybe someone pushed her. "No one would have heard her scream" "Caps eyes were frozen with fear" Cap is a beautiful horse that belongs to Alice Winston, she is 12 years old and lives with her family in a run-down horse ranch in desert valley, Colorado . When her sister ran away, all of the families problem rested on the little girls shoulders. Alice and her father have a simple job which is to breed a women horse, and to give riding lessons. Alice takes this opportunity as a social education! As the season of summer is being overtaken by rain, her life is also being overturn. She land up in devastating, betrayal and violent series of events! I don't want to spoil anything so go read the book to find out the shocking truth of young Alice's life!
